SmoothTour Terms and Conditions

1. About SmoothTour

SmoothTour is a free supplier listing and introduction service for event organisers and independent event suppliers. Organisers may browse listings, send direct enquiries, or ask SmoothTour to help identify suitable suppliers through the free Find Suppliers For Me service. Suppliers may be listed free of charge. There are no organiser or supplier subscriptions.

2. Introductions and bookings

When an organiser submits an event request, SmoothTour may share the request and the organiser's contact details with relevant suppliers so that the request can be considered. Suppliers and organisers communicate directly after contact is made. SmoothTour is not normally a party to any contract, booking, payment, cancellation, or dispute between them.

3. Supplier information

Suppliers are responsible for keeping their listing accurate, lawful, and current. SmoothTour may amend or remove a listing, or refuse access, where reasonably necessary to protect users, operate the service, or address inaccurate, unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading content.

4. Organiser responsibilities

Organisers must decide whether a supplier is suitable for their event. This includes checking availability, pricing, experience, insurance, licences, qualifications, risk assessments, safeguarding arrangements, technical requirements, and any other matter relevant to the event before agreeing a booking.

5. No guarantees

SmoothTour does not guarantee supplier availability, a response to an enquiry, a successful booking, or the quality, safety, conduct, or performance of an independent supplier. The service is provided on an as available basis and may occasionally be interrupted.

6. Acceptable use

Users must not submit unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or harmful content; impersonate another person; interfere with the service; or use SmoothTour to send unsolicited marketing or spam.

7. Intellectual property

SmoothTour branding, design, and original website content belong to SmoothTour or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they provide and grant SmoothTour a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the listing and introduction service.

8. Privacy and data protection

SmoothTour processes personal information to operate listings, respond to enquiries, provide the concierge service, maintain security, and understand service usage. We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with relevant suppliers when an organiser asks us to help with an event request, and with service providers or authorities where necessary or legally required. Requests concerning personal data can be sent to admin@smoothtourapp.co.uk.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SmoothTour is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or opportunity, or loss arising from the acts, omissions, information, services, agreements, or disputes of organisers or independent suppliers.

10. Changes and availability

We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service where reasonably necessary. The current Terms will be published on this page.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
